2015 Project365 (Day 259)

New boss

This morning I took The Little Mister to work with me to open up before I dropped him off at pre-school.

He made me laugh loads as he was sitting at my boss’s desk ‘on the phone’ to Grandpa saying “Hi Grandpa, I going to pre-school in a minute, Love you. Bye.”

2015 Project365 (Day 253)

Scooter Demon

I love Friday’s because it’s my day off.

This morning was busy with swimming lessons and then the kids and I walked to the park. The Little Mister was absolutely steaming his way around the park on his scooter. He is so fast and he kind of gets really low down and takes the corners at speed. Awesome!

2015 Project365 (Day 250)

Brio a

The Little Mister has a habit of nicking the iPad or my iPhone and and taking multiple photos with the camera. This time he had taken 78 photographs of the train track that he and his Daddy had built. Some of them were quite artistic but I didn’t think we needed to keep quite so many!

2015 Project365 (Day 245)

Pre-school

Today my lovely boy started at pre-school. I cannot believe that my baby is so big already!

The Little Mister seems really boisterous and a bit heavy handed when he is around people he knows, but really he can be quite shy in new situations. There were a few tears from him when we left but we had a phone call from one of the staff to say he had settled in beautifully and when we went to collect him we managed to see him playing happily on the scooter. Such a brilliant pre-school with awesome staff!

There was also quite a few tears from me. To get to pre-school I have to walk past Mum’s grave. I love the thought that she is so near our children when they are going through such an important stage of their education but it didn’t stop me having a little cry on the way back to work though that she is missing out on seeing another milestone.

I miss you Mum so much and wish you were here. Today isn’t a sad day though. It is time to celebrate this wonderful, smart and cheeky boy as he moves on to his next challenge. Love you Bear x

2015 Project365 (Day 241)

Potty trainingNot the best picture but it made me smile.

We went to watch some of the Guernsey marathon today but as we are also potty training it meant that The Little Mister had to watch part of it from the comfort of his travel potty.

The joys of living with a 2 year old!

2015 Project365 (Day 235)

Water play

My mother-in-law and father-in-law bought The Little Miss this brilliant water play table for her birthday.

Of course The Little Mister is getting as much, if not more, enjoyment out of it at the moment but I can see it is going to be a firm favourite present!

2015 Project365 (Day 231)

Twins?

I love seeing how our kids are developing differently and with their own characters.

Their personalities are so different and I don’t think they look massively alike but they both certainly looked really cute in this babygro!

House guests

The Little Mister was desperate to show his Grandad his ‘house’.

It did make me smile to see such a tall man climbing up there and crawling through the door.

It’s good to have grandparents who get in there and play.

ShoppingIt’s amazing what you can buy at Waitrose these days!

Shopping with these two is highly entertaining if rather demanding sometimes!

2015 Project365 (Day 198)

Double trouble

The Mister was out tonight so I was going solo with teatime, bathtime and bedtime.

The kids were really good but they are so funny in the bath. She absolutely adores him and he loves trying to make her laugh.

Blessings.
