Today was the Soapbox racing and this year it was down St Julian’s Avenue.
Not as many carts as we hoped but this was The Little Mister’s absolute favourite. He was desperate to sit in it but had to settle with trying to take a selfie!
We had planned to have a little party in the garden at our house today but it has been absolutely torrential rain!
We decamped to my Dad’s house as he has a lovely spacious conservatory and a prize=winning garden that looks nice from inside!
The Little Miss had a lovely party and was happy to wear her party dress, accessorised in her own style of course!
I can’t believe that this wonderful girl is 3 today.
She certainly brings us a ridiculous amount of laughter and joy and without her our family would be incomplete in so many way.
She is amazing, stubborn and wilful at times but she is also creative, kind, funny and cuddly.
I love you, my darling girl. Truly you are Wonder Girl!
Today I was singing with Bel Canto at an event at Government House. It was the launch of the Guernsey Arts Foundation and they had dancers, singers and groups all performing on different stages throughout the afternoon.
The weather was awful and the rain was pretty much consistent all afternoon but we had fun. The Little Miss in particular really enjoyed an excellent local Beatles tribute band called The Day Trippers.
