The kids have had a fab time camping and have developed a rather healthy love of hot chocolate.
The perfect way to stay warm before bedtime!
Ten years ago today The Mister and I finally got our act together in the The Jesus Arms at Greenbelt.
So much has changed since then and we are living far away from where we first started. We have two wonderful (of rather demanding) children and busy jobs and lives.
What hasn’t changed for me is the love I have for him. Knowing that he will support me through thick and thin and the fact he is always there is terribly reassuring.
He is a wonderful, kind man who makes me smile a lot, infuriates me sometimes, but always makes me grateful he is by my side.
I love you Mister x
This summer we haven’t been off-island so we decided to spend a few days at The Fauxquets Valley Campsite.
It is a lovely site with immaculate facilities and a lovely swimming pool. This weekend it was packed with Guernsey people who are enjoying a staycation.
I enjoyed cooking tea with gin. A perfect evening.
Start of the North Show today. I entered a few things but only got two thirds for my Buttermilk and Sweet Cakes. I was beaten by Auntie Josie in both classes!
Dad and I went up last night to put his entries in and we saw them bringing this monster pumpkin in – it took 14 of them! Fabulous and obviously won the heaviest entry in the show!
