Team Collymochon Day 8 – Musti’s Boat

46

52We booked a whole day trip out today on Musti’s Boat. We had the most fantastic day out and the kids were shattered by the time we got home.

Musti and his helper made us feeling very welcome and Chase the dog was an enormous hit – he loved sitting on the paddleboard and looked most offended when the kids booted him off it.

We left at 10am and made our way around to a sheltered bay where we were able to go swimming – the sea was about the same temperature as in Guernsey in summer. Musti then cooked us delicious chicken and meatballs on the barbecue which is attached to the front of his boat and we were served barbecued meat, salads and breads for lunch along with wine and beer and soft drinks for the kids.

5448We then headed off to another bay where we hoped to see tutles, but they weren’t very obliging again. The kids once again headed off on the paddle board with some of the bigger children they had made friends with. We ate ice-creams before moving onto a final bay where Emma and I drank mojitos.

We arrived back at 5ish, a little sunburnt but having had a fabulous day. We even had tea at Tapas Mapas, the restaurant owned by Musti’s family. A fabulous day for everyone.
