Lockdown 2.0 – Day 11

Today has been quite tricky. The Poor Mister has carried the bulk to home-schooling today whilst I have been busy at work and that has been tough on him. I have just felt very overwhelmed – I feel like I am not really giving my work the best and I am definitely not giving my children the best either. It’s such a difficult balance.

The creative Little Miss created a “hamster kitty” and also some cat ears out of pipecleaners.

Later in the afternoon we went for a walk across Cobo beach and wandered down to inspect my cousin Tim’s new cake hedge veg stall- Cobo Bakes. . Unfortunately there were no cakes in it which was a HUGE disappointment! I left him a note to register my discontent.

The kids took a few photos of winter trees so that they could draw them for their schoolwork and we waded home through the mud.

I reluctantly did a Joe Wicks workout and then had a power-nap in the bath. We finished the day with a game of Junior Monopoly.

Somehow we need to find some balance. I just don’t know how we do it at the moment 🙁
