17.5This morning the kids and I had a lovely hour or so at Le Petit Viaer Marchi. This replaced the usual Guernsey National Trust event which was cancelled earlier in the month due to concerns about the amount of people it attracts. It was a lovely little event held in the courtyard at the park and showcased local arts and crafts, traditional food and some local artisan stalls. It was really nice to be out and it was a delightful event.

In the afternoon we headed to the beach – what a shame the weather wasn’t like this when we were in Herm last week! It was a gorgeous day and we spent the afternoon at Cobo beach, ending up with fish and chips when The Little Miss’ best mate came down with her family. Such a beautiful day.
