Day 89

TilesHPB Rocha Brava is a lovely site. Only some of the properties here are HPB and most are owned privately. As part of HPB we have access to a lovely covered and heated pool which is fab as the weather is a little changeable.

Throughout the site are some lovely tiles and I especially love the way this staircase looks.

Day 88

Loving familyWe have arrived at HPB Rocha Brava. It’s a lovely site and we have already been swimming in the pool and headed out for dinner.

It makes me smile to see The Little Miss walking along with Grandpa. She is a proper schmoozer and keeps telling him she loves him.

Cat stowaway

Looks like Betty wants to come on holiday with us. Better check my luggage properly before zipping the cases up!

Day 84

Afternoon tea treat

For Mothering Sunday one of my aunts bought my sister and I an afternoon tea, with gin, at a local hotel.

It was so nice to go and do something we wouldn’t have bought for ourselves, as well as have a bit of time to catch up with each other. Lovely afternoon. Excellent gin infused with berries which tasted like cough medicine. Yummy!

Day 82

York Mystery Play rehearsal

Oh this is not the way I want to spent the weekend. This evening was spent rehearsing for the York Mystery Plays. It was freezing and we were sitting in uncomfortably choir stalls. Not my favourite place to be!

Day 80

Chickie Dave

It was a very exciting day at pre-school today. I arrived in time to see one of the newly hatched chicks who had been christened Dave. They look really prehistoric when they have just hatched.
