2016 Project366 (Day 121)

Fashion iconThe Little Miss has a somewhat eclectic taste in clothes.

She is often to be found wandering about with one of my scarves draped around her shoulders in a rather bohemian fashion.

Today she is sporting a gorgeous dress (I wish they did them in adult sizes!) and her brother’s shoes and hat.

She looks awesome.

2016 Project366 (Day 120)

CousinsWe had great plans to go for a walk on the beach today with my sister and our cousin and the kids. Sadly the weather got the better of us and they all came over to drink tea and catch up instead.

Love my big cousin. x

2016 Project366 (Day 119)

Sunset

I took this photo on the way home from Pilates.

It is such a beautiful view across Vazon bay and on a calm, quiet day it is absolutely glorious.

Living here is such a privilege.

2016 Project366 (Day 118)

Guernsey Election DayToday is Guernsey election day and I went out to vote at lunchtime.

Now we are sitting around waiting for the results. It will certainly be interesting to see who gets elected in this district. There are currently 7 deputies and this is reducing to 5 and there are 12 candidates. So, whatever happens, two people will be losing their job.

Waiting, waiting, waiting. Good luck to all the candidates.

2016 Project366 (Day 117)

Fairy noteYet another photograph from the weekend. I am so busy at work that I feel like I am drowning under a pile of admin that is just getting bigger and not smaller.

Whilst out walking in Bluebell Wood I found this delightful little message that a little girl had left Thumbelina. So sweet!

Bluebell Wood

No photos today I am afraid. I have been busy at work and then busy when I got home.

Instead you get another photo of the magical Bluebell Woods. Absolutely breathtakingly lovely.

2016 Project366 (Day 115)

Family

It has been such a gorgeous day today although the wind has been quite chilly.

The in-laws went back this afternoon so this morning we took a walk to Bluebell Wood and then had lunch at a local hotel.

The bluebells are all out and it is just stunningly beautiful at the moment. There were plenty of people out walking although I had The Little Miss in the Ergo and it was pretty hard going walking back up the slope. Good for the legs I reckon!

2016 Project366 (Day 114)

3 in the bed

The poor cats are constantly tormented and Betty was enjoying a nice quiet sleep in the cot when she was joined by two children. Poor thing.

2016 Project366 (Day 113)

Still carryingThe weather today has been pretty awful and it has been thick fog and a bit damp.

I was off today so took a walk with the children and the inlaws and we went to Fort Grey which houses a shipwreck museum. The for is situated across a short causeway but the fog was so thick that we couldn’t really see it from the car park.

The Little Miss is getting really big but I am still managing to carry her in the Ergo. She’s definitely a lump though!

2016 Project366 (Day 112)

Plant shoppingA quick trip to the shopping centre and this is how The Little Mister like to travel!

My mother-in-law found the reduced plants section which felt like a bit of a result. I just hope the weather is ok enough to plant them at the weekend!
