After being awake for a couple of hours in the middle of the night, this is the face of a baby who did not want to wake up this morning.
We are shattered and praying she sleeps well tonight!
This little boy seriously rocks my world.
At the moment he is simultaneously hilarious, funny, frustrating and naughty. His language is coming on super fast and he says things like ‘You are most welcome’ which really makes me laugh.
He is seriously good at the iPad and it it one of his favourite things about Grandpa who usually brings electronic devices with him.
I love you Little Mister, even when you are driving me to distraction!
I love Easter weekend, especially because it is a 4 days weekend!
The weather today has been really awful in places, torrential rain and hail and then sunshine. Very bipolar. We managed to catch a decent bit of weather and go for a walk in the park so The Little Mister could have a scoot about and it was lovely.
The rest of the day was spent doing bits and pieces in the house. I bought this old kids picnic table off a local Facebook selling site and I have started to paint it. The children sat at it and watched The Rescuers whilst eating fish and chips for tea.
A perfect end to a perfect weekend.
Happy Easter everyone. Unfortunately I didn’t make it to church today for a variety of reasons but we did manage to go on a walk with my sister and her kids and dog and her friend.
We wandered through Le Guet watching my nephew attempting to thrash various bushes with some big sticks and reminding him not to hit small children. I cooked a delicious roast lamb for lunch and then we settled down to watch the Boat Race.
It has been a fab day despite some hideous weather this evening.
We have had a lovely day. This morning we went out to a local castle for a maritime event, a bit of shopping and lunch in town.
This afternoon my cousin and his wife are over from Norway with their gorgeous baby so we went to my aunt’s house for tea and (lots of) cake. I have eaten way too many delicious things but it was worth it!
I would love to show you pictures of a cute baby but I didn’t take any. However, I did take this photo of the most gorgeous teacup and saucer I have ever seen!
It looks like today is the only day that is likely to have decent weather all over the Easter weekend.
My Dad and husband spent the entire day building my greenhouse. I think it was trickier than in looked. My assistance in proceedings was to remove myself and the children who were desperate to ‘help’.
Thanks for an awesome birthday present Dad and thanks to you and The Mister for taking so long to put it together!
I love this time of year. Spring is definitely on the way!
Today the kids and I popped into my aunt and uncle’s greenhouse and they have this lovely tree which is just starting to bloom.
The Little Mister was absolutely delighted to go to this greenhouse as there is a really old tractor at the bottom so they were able to go and have a look. The Little Miss was just delighted because my Dad was there. It always makes me smile to hear her saying “grampa my grampa.”
