2012 Project365 (Day 334)

CuddlesHurray! I have made it to the end of work and now I have a couple of weeks holiday and then I go on maternity leave! I have to admit that it was odd and a little bit sad to leave work.

Now, I am knackered. I hope I get a bit of a chance to rest before he makes an appearance, and yet I would like him to arrive as soon as possible! Here is The Mister practising his baby cuddling skills with Billy.

2012 Project365 (Day 333)

ParkI left work a bit early today and went to the park with my sister and the kids. It was a bit muddy and Eden was dressed in her fur coat and pink wellies, accessorised by muddy tyre marks up the back of her legs thanks to her big brother.

I really wanted to take a photo of Barnabas on his cool balance bike but he wasn’t happy to be photographed today, unlike Eden who is always happy to say ‘cheese’ for her Auntie’s camera! I think Eden’s willingness to be photographed is why I have more pictures of her in general.

2012 Project365 (Day 332)

Cuteness! How cute are these little baby vests from Baby Boden? My friend James has excellent taste and sent us these as a gift for Winston. He is going to look just so gorgeous in them! Cute overload!

2012 Project365 (Day 331)

ConcentrationThe Mister has bought a new lens for the camera – I have no idea what it is so don’t ask me any technical questions but it does take nice pictures.

My niece Eden was hilarious this afternoon. We were watching Kitten Cam and if you said to her, “Count the kittens Eden” she would go “Two, nine, two, nine” and then grin. I think we need to work on her counting!

2012 Project365 (Day 330)

DIY husband… and on to the final week at work. Thank goodness! I am cream-crackered!!

The Mister was busy at the house this morning painting the kitchen. I love this aqua colour that we are putting on the walls. The Mister is a little bit more reluctant but I think it is going to look just divine with a white kitchen, dark old wood table and chairs which have been covered in lovely stripey fabric.

I can’t wait to have a kitchen to myself again! Guess I will have to do more cooking though. There’s the downside!

2012 Project365 (Day 329)

Mini CakesI was considering going to work today to try and deal with some paperwork but I was banned from going because I was so knackered and a pathetic mess yesterday.

Fortunately I was saved by the fact that when I got home from church there was a big delivery from Lakeland. I love this shop, I mean it sells so many things that I never knew I needed! I was quite restrained and had mainly bought stuff that I did actually need, like one of their oven liners to try and keep my new oven clean.

The most exciting thing in the box though was the Mini Sandwich Tin which has loose bottoms in each section so it makes it dead easy to get all the cakes out! It’s brilliant and I made some Mini Victoria Sponge Cakes and some Mini Lemon Curd Sponge Cakes. They look divine and I have made them to take to work tomorrow for my final team meeting before I go off on maternity leave. Yum yum!

2012 Project365 (Day 328)

Lovely wallpaper!Spent some more time at the house today, although I toddled off to yoga in the morning and left Mum and Dad and The Mister doing some wallpapering and painting.

By the time I got back they had put up this wallpaper in the spare room and I think it looks absolutely fabulous! I am so happy with it! I just can’t wait to start filling the house up with our furniture and things.

I was so tired this afternoon that I sat on the floor painting in the hallway painting along the skirting boards and I cried. I think I am overtired and hanging on to get through this week. I feel a little bit pathetic to be honest!

2012 Project365 (Day 327)

Afternoon teaAfter work today I went out with my work colleagues for afternoon tea at the OGH. It was delicious and very filling and the company was pretty good too.

The team have been absolutely brilliant because it can’t be easy for them either – there is no-one to replace me whilst I am on maternity leave so my colleagues are having to bridge the gap and look after my clients whilst I am off.

So, a lovely couple of hours with a lovely team!

2012 Project365 (Day 326)

22 November 2012Another long and busy day at work followed by painting at the house for me and Mum and attempting to put the kitchen drawers together for The Mister.

It was complicated!

I have 6 days to go at work. Roll on maternity leave that’s all I have to say!
