Lockdown Day 24

The weather wasn’t quite so nice today but we dragged out two, tired and whinging children to go for a walk. We started at Le Trepied Dolmen. It is a fascinating monument and apparently is well known as a place for witches to gather. From there we walked through some of the National Trust areas and around the lanes… all the while listening to The Little Mister jabbering on and The Little Miss with a face like thunder. Brilliant.

Today is my fabulous sister’s birthday and I whipped her up a quick strawberry and cream sponge and we took it to her house along with her presents. We stayed in her garden whilst she opened her gifts and then went home. Social distancing is hard and I am really missing her.

We also learned today that schools are not going back for at least another 5 weeks. Oh boy… 5 weeks more home schooling… and yet I am loving all the time with my family.
